this is really random... but this past summer, i took my students to do trash pickups in a nature preserve, and before we went, i had them watch the vide on the northern-pacific toxic island (or trash island, or whatever everyone calls it)... and every time we picked another plastic bag out of the lake, they would say, "goodbye trash island!" that's all.
